Hedy Lamarr: Movie star, inventor of WiFi
Hedy Lamarr, a European immigrant, was an intelligent, beautiful, creative, inventive woman. Her idea for a radio controlled torpedo got a U.S. patent but she died alone and in obscurity at age 86.
